One Sunday, Roseann, Evie and I all got up at 5:00 AM and drove to Los Angeles for what is probably the world's largest car-oriented swap meet. We went with Dave and John Weaver, my Y.B.D.B. "desert rat" friends. The Manx Club was there in the VW section, and John got roped into working on Gus the Bus' generator for Bruce Meyers. The Pomona Swap Meet is huge! In three hours, we were only able to "do" VW and Porsche "parts", and a little bit of "Chevy cars for sale". Evie got her picture taken in front of a 1936 Chevy hot rod. On the way home we stopped in the village of Lake Elsinore for Mexican food.
