SPAM Email Rejection Information

Wed, 27 Nov 2024 07:46:39 PM (From remote host 172.70.100.113)

You have likely been directed to this Web page because your email to lightner.net, lightner.com, picoweb.net, or picoweb.com was rejected by our mail processing system. The rejection was likely because you attempted to send email to one of the above domains using a computer with an "open relay" email exchanger or from a computer that is a well known source of junk email. That or you sent us email with a bogus return address. We apologize for the inconvience, but there still is a way to reach us electronically using the form below!

We use the SpamCop database from SpamCop.Net, an organization, which stores a list of host computers that are known sources of SPAM email. We also block email from host computer which are well known open SMTP relays. Open relays are, or are likely to be, used as conduits for sending unsolicited bulk email (a.k.a. SPAM). By accessing these lists, system administrators such as ourselves can choose to accept or deny email exchange with these mail servers. We choose to deny email exchange with such host computers because the vast majority of these mail servers only send us SPAM.

Click here find out if the computer you are using now (IP address 172.70.100.113) is also "blacklisted".

If your email is not SPAM, and you are unable to send your email using something other then a "black-listed" mail server, you are welcome to send email to us using the form at the bottom of this Web page.
